School Business Manager
Location: The Weald Federation (Frant, Mark Cross, Mayfield, Five Ashes)
Salary: East Sussex Single Status Grade 11 £32,258 - £34,844 per annum (pro-rata)
Part time: 21.25 hours per week. Term time only plus 5 Inset days
We are looking to appoint a School Business Manager to join our new federation which will be established 01/09/2019 with the merging of the Aspire and Saxonbury federations. All our schools are close together and set in beautiful rural locations. We work closely in partnership with other schools.

We are looking for a School Business Manager who:
- Is committed to helping raise standards for all children across our federation
- Is experienced in school business, finance and management
- Has excellent computing skills
- Has the ability to manage school finances, health and safety and premises of our schools
- Has the ability to line manage the finance assistants across the federation
- Has the ability to work at a strategic level, advising Governors and working alongside Senior Leaders
- Demonstrates a commitment to partnership working
- Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to the schools’ aims
- Understands and can implement effective practices and procedures
- Has high aspirations for themselves and the staff with whom they work
- Has excellent interpersonal skills with staff and parents
