Mark Cross Church of England Primary School

At Mark Cross CE Primary School we provide opportunities for our pupils to make music, explore different musical styles, sing, evaluate and share their thoughts about music and how it makes them feel. We encourage all of our children to be creative and music is an important part of this process. Our music curriculum meets the aims of the National Curriculum across the four main strands of singing, musicianship (including performing), listening and composing. We currently follow the East Sussex approved scheme, Charanga, for the teaching and learning of music.
