Take A Deep Breath

As days of isolation turn into weeks, many of us are feeling increasingly uprooted from our normal lives. In a world on lockdown, it isn’t just our routines that are being disrupted, but our relationships too. Thankfully, distance doesn’t have to mean disconnection.

This blog has handpicked some of their favorite meditations, sleep stories, movement exercises, journals, and music.

Book Reviews

Owl Class, your challenge is to write a book review.
Here are two excellent examples. Reading these reviews certainly makes me want to read the book!

Even if you are not in Owl Class, perhaps you would like to write a book review of your favourite book or your latest read.  It may encourage others to pick up that book as an alternative and enjoyable pastime.

The Collies Caring for Hedgehogs

Millie and Sophie contacted a local wildlife charity to ask if there was any way that they could help at their busiest time of year.

They brought them 4 hedgehogs to release in woods behind their house.

Millie and Sophie gave them some food and water and set up a night vision wildlife camera.

The hedgehogs have been seen at night coming back to the spot they released them for water. Sophie and Millie are hoping that the quieter roads will help their chances of survival.

We believe the Collies should be awarded the Mark Cross Caring Cup for this week!
